About our company

Our owner, Jason, has been an avid fisherman for his entire life. He built fishing rods for years as a hobbyist, but as more people began asking about them and where they could get one he turned it into a business and never looked back. Now, hundreds of people have a custom Bark Shark fishing rod and our family of anglers is ever growing. He has received certification and approval from his rod building idol, Gary Loomis, and is one of his few Certified Rod Builders.

When not working on making fishing rods, he enjoys being on the water chasing whatever gamefish is in season. He not only loves the manufacturing process but is also passionate about teaching people about the sport and conservation.
